Year 7 Secondary School Offer Day

Merits – The Makaton Choir will also be performing a new song – exciting!

Swimming starts for F2 & Class 2 (information and goggle form attached again). The children will be back at 3.30pm, please allow room at the top of Church Street for the coach to reverse in off the main road.

Please make bookings for wraparound care to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm tomorrow.

Could all trip reply letters for Class 2 & 3 be returned by Wednesday 28^th March.

Looking ahead:

World Book Day is on Thursday 7^th March – the information is attached for the ‘best dressed head’ on the day. Normal uniform is to be worn.

Mother’s Day – normally we would have a celebration for this on the Friday before Mother’s Day but unfortunately there is a Y3 Sports Fixture and some other commitments that can’t be moved. We are therefore celebrating Mother’s Day on Friday 15^th March. This will be in school (not Church) at 9.00am and all classes will be performing a piece (F1 will be in as well). Straight after the celebration there will be a refreshments served and the children will again join us in the hall (they will leave for 5 minutes whilst we set the tables). It is also Red Nose Day on that Day and the SAS will be in touch with plans for fundraising.
