This week

Good morning,

What a lovely week so far, the performances were truly magical and we are so proud of all the children. I hope they enjoyed the pantomime yesterday too, it certainly looked as though they did!

Lunch menu is Meek 2.

There are no clubs this week. Afterschool will not run on Wednesday. Please make bookings for wraparound care to office@stuyrton.notts.sch.uk by 3.30pm today.

Monday

Foundation & Class 1 party.

Tuesday

Class 2 & 3 party

Party info: The children should have brought home requests for food for the ‘buffet’, please bring the food in on the morning. If you are bringing cake, please ensure it is already cut/sliced.

The children can bring a change of clothes for the party, they will get changed after lunch.

Father Christmas will be visiting and each child will receive a gift from the PTFA.

The PTFA disco is on Tuesday at 6.00 – 7.30pm. Entry is £3 per child and includes pizza, drink & ice pop, no money is required for sweets. Please send in the money before Tuesday in a named envelope.

Wednesday

The children can wear Christmas jumpers again if they wish (along with normal school uniform). The Christingle Service starts at 2.00pm in Church, everyone is welcome. This is always very popular and busy. The children will build their Christingles and then we all stand around Church (children with parents) , light them and sing, a truly magical memory maker.

After the service, children can go home with parents as we break up.

Looking ahead:

We return to school on Thursday 4th January

Monday 15th January – Parent Curriculum Evening 5.30 – 7.00pm (in person)

Friday 19th January – Y4 Sports @ West Lindsey Sports Centre (am)

29th & 30th January – Open Evening for all parents 3.30 – 6.00pm – look out for time requests in January

Have a lovely weekend.

Regards

Mark
