It is our sports afternoon on Thursday. All children (F1 to Y6) are involved. All F1 children should be in school all day on Thursday please. Parents, family members and friends are all welcome. Please gather in the school car park and the gates will open at 1.00pm and the events start at 1.15pm. The children will be split into challenge teams. Siblings will always be in the same team. This means that as they move around the challenges, you can see both/all three of your children doing everything. After the team challenges, the track races begin. There will be some seating for parents along the track, please feel free to bring your own chairs too. Races will be year group based. There will also be a marathon race for each class too with medals presented at Celebration Evening. This year we will be introducing a tug of war competition as it proved very popular at the summer fayre. There will also be the usual parent race, so trainers/bare feet at the ready! The afternoon should finish around 3.30pm. The forecast is quite good with temperatures around 20 degrees and light wind. Please ensure that children have sun cream and a hat. There will be plenty of water for the children to access. Thank you.
