Clubs for the week: Monday Pupil Voice Committee Animation Club Tuesday Choir Basketball The Foundation 1 Full time build up continues Monday to Thursday. Tuesday is guitar as normal. On Tuesday Class 1 are out on their trip to Hartsholme Country Park. Thursday is sports day. Children should come to school in PE kits and preferably with a hat in case of sun. Sun lotion should also be available for them. Parents should start arriving from 1.00pm, that is when the gates are opened. The afternoon will start with a variety of mixed team (F2 to Y6) challenges followed by races on the track (F1 to Y6), marathon, parents race and the Grand Finale – the tug of war. One of our ex-pupils will be at sports day selling raffle tickets for an iphone 6. Lewis Evans is raising money for a Camp International trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands (see attached flyer). Our final merit assembly will take place on Friday at 9.00am. Swimming will be for Foundation 2 and Year 6. This gives the F2 children the opportunity of two weeks school swimming. Please ensure they have swimming kits and towel in school on Friday. If goggles need to be worn, please complete the form kept in the school office (it is a rule of the pool). Reports will be going out on Friday. Have a good weekend.
